You can create a channel from both your phone PC or laptop. In this blog, I’ll also share the settings you need to apply after creating your YouTube channel, which are very important. Unless you turn them on, no matter how hard you work on YouTube, your channel will neither grow nor got views. This is my personal experience, so I’m sharing this.
If you want to create a new Gmail ID, you can also go through YouTube, or else directly. You can also create an Gmail ID from the chrome browser, I will tell you through YouTube for example, go to YouTube, click on the ID with which you are logged in on YouTube, as soon as you click, you will see the option of switch account on the top, you have to click there, after clicking, whatever Gmail ID you are logged in with
it will be shown to you, but if you want to create a new I’d, then you will be shown the plus + icon on the top, you have to click there, after you click, you can see the google sign page is open, then you click on create an account, then you can see two options personal use or work or my business, you can select personal use, enter first and last name of your, then click next, after that you select your date of birth, gender male or female.
after you see the option select your email address, if u problem on this -username is already taken u can change other name or number combination then click on next then u choose password I suggest you choose strong password letters and number combination to secure your gmail account example – password25444@ after enter password click next and scroll a page and click on yes I am in and accept all terms conditions and Click on Agree and you will be redirected to YouTube. then you see your new I’d login in your youtube then you can see option create a channel click on that select – (youtube channel logo) -(name) – (handle name)- btw! The handle name would show when you commented on someone else’s video.
after fill all the details
then click create a channel thats it your channel has been created 😊

YouTube studio setting that you can apply on your youtube channel go to chrome browser type youtubestudio.com then login with your gmail id that you used to create a channel

In general option – you can select currency example INR – USD u can choose your according basically This option is useful when your channel gets monetized and starts earning, then the currency should be shown in the INR or USD
in general section u can see third option feature eligibilty
2nd is intermediate features if you not enabled this feature you can not set any thumbnail to your video you can not upload videos longer than 15 minutes simply verify your number with otp this feature is enabled to your channel
third is advance features this feature is expand your reach youtube
and also You put external links to videos description
create more shorts daily
embed live streams etc.
if you want to enable this feature simply click on access features
YouTube give you three options to enable this
- take a six seconds video of yourself
- take a photo of your id example pan card etc
- third is build history as you grow
if you don’t need this feature activated right now u can select third option because When you work on YouTube and upload videos, this feature will be activated automatically after 2 months.
in advanced settings You will get the option if your channel or content related to kids then you select yes if not you can select no
in basic settings you can select your country
second is keywords
it’s very important because
This will make your channel appear in search results. so use keywords related to your channel first is your channel name and You can also enter the niche which your channel is related. example your channel is related to podcast so you can use podcast as keyword..
4 th is upload default
in upload default You will get the option of advanced settings then u click on category is set on default none but u can change this according to your channel example your channel is related to gaming then u select gaming .
also you can select your language u can select according to content hindi or english..
